POSITION PURPOSE: Responsible to leading and prepare quality pricing proposals and quotations from inception to completion for Project Logistics Division

RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES/FUNCTIONS TASKS:

• Global Central point of receipt for all Commercial Logistics customer requests for Technical Bids, Pre-qualifications, Route Survey Methology Documents, Operation Technical Papers.

• Lead the development of proposals and quotations assigned individually in support of RFP’s/RFQ’s pursued by the company.

• Assisting operations in highlighting major components such as labor, materials and equipment based on the requirements of the scope of work.

• Ensure that the proposals and quotations are current, accurate and complete meeting all of the requirements of the statement of work listed in the RFP/RFQ.

• Review, analyze and sense check cost estimates. • Work closely with Move One operations and sales teams in determining the requirements in the RFP and ensure all the cost elements have been captured in the basis of estimate and final costing. • Suggest improvements in a pro-active manner.

• Submit the final proposals for approval in a timely manner in accordance with the respective RFP.

• Preparation of cost comparisons between existing goods and services.

• Calculating benchmarks for all prices based on historical data or information available.

• Interact closely with other departments to gather information and ensure accuracy of estimates.

• Work closely with central logistics department to establish a costing database in support of future estimates.

• Ad-hoc weekly and monthly reports as requested by the Senior Commercial and Pricing Manager
