Job Purpose

To assist the Head of Policy Development with WISH policy outputs translation, identifying and taking best advantage of opportunities to reach and influence national, regional and international healthcare policy decision-makers. To facilitate internal WISH governance and related activities and coordinate other special projects and events, primarily relating to WISH policy translation.

KEY RESULTS AREAS

• Special projects- under supervision, undertake special projects or activities as instructed by the Head of Policy Development

• Public Relations & Marketing - writing, disseminating and promoting key policy information

• Stakeholder management- when appropriate, engage with senior internal and external stakeholders directly in support of the CEO/ Head of Policy Development and contribute to the establishment of protocols that enhance stakeholder relations

• Contribute to the development of strategies which will enable delivery of efficient and effective services

• Contribute to enhanced operational efficiency through liaison with stakeholders following best practice models

• Assist with the development of documents, speeches, reports, and/or project briefs

• Analyze reports on various issues and provide advice on the anticipated impact

• Other reasonable tasks as assigned

• Comply with QF health, safety, and environment policies, procedures, legal regulations and objectives applicable to areas of responsibility to ensure that work is performed in a safe, healthy and environmentally-sound manner
