Assisting the surgeons in scrubbing for major cases like Skeletal Deformity - Bilateral

Sagittal Split Osteotomy (BSSO) + Lefort I, Surgically Assisted Rapid Palatal

Expansion (SARPE),

 Drapes the Patient.

 Patient is positioned on a surgical table and draped with sterile linen

to prevent contamination of the surgical wound.

 Aspirates the saliva, the debris and the blood from the mouth.

 Retracts the cheeks and tongue.

 Prepares the maxillofacial set-up.

 Giving instruments to the surgeons

Assist in the Removal of benign or malignant tumors and cysts.

 Prepares soft tissue set-up.

 Suction and retraction.

 Fill up the pathology form for the patient and sends it to laboratory

section for biopsy

 Retrieves the result for the evaluation of the surgeon.

Assist the oral surgeon in the extraction of a tooth and heavily wedge third molars in

the jawbone.

 Prepares surgical extraction set-up.
