The construction manager will be responsible for planning and coordinating the construction projects, involve from the projects initial conception and ensuring that all project work is carried out according to the client’s specification.

- Manage and supervise the Subcontractors / Site Engineers.

- Ensures that all construction works are undertaken to required designs, specification, standards and HSE requirements.

- Responsible for reporting progress of site works to project manager.

- Identify problematic design issues and make recommendations for alternative and cost effective re-design solutions.

- Ensure the construction schedule is maintained.

- Reports on changes and additions to contractual agreements by main contractors, consultants, clients, suppliers and subcontractors.

- Maintain accurate and detailed records are of all site activities.

- Investigate damage, accidents, or delays at construction sites, to ensure that proper procedures are being carried out.

- Monitors and Controls the progress on various projects with external agencies like architectural firms, material suppliers, construction agencies, etc. and reports to VCOO (Projects) to ensure that the projects are completed within the scheduled time period in an efficient and effective way .

- Assists in Forecasting functional budgets in conjunction with the organizational budget provides recommendations for the workforce needs of the department and obtains requisite approvals.

- Determines labor requirements and dispatch workers to construction sites.

- Prepare the Project BOQ Material List and Sub Contract List.
