• Consolidate regional and district demand data to ensure the preservation of master data

• Perform radio network planning (2G and 3G) including resource planning

• Draft and implement the Transport (GPRS) in line with the Technology Strategy

• Develop of core (Data) network design in line with the Technology Strategy

• Coordinate with the managed services provider on network technical dependencies

• Monitor IN traffic and forecasts and assist in the development of capacity plans for platforms

• Supervise the resolution of coverage gaps issues in a timely manner

• Coordinate with the managed services provider for network optimization and efficiency in order to achieve customer satisfaction

• Develop Third Parties’ ‘Requests for Proposals’ including technical specifications in line with Radio/Core/Charging and Transmission network requirements

• Prepare cost estimates whilst ensuring cost efficiency and adhering to Department budget

• Participate in Third Party tenders evaluation in line with the Radio/Core/Charging and Transmission tender requirements and approved budget

• Recommend new Radio/Core/Charging and Transmission technologies in order to be efficient and save costs

• Develop relationships with Radio/Core/Charging and Transmission network technology partners to align technology capabilities to marketing / product needs

• Manage the follow up work with vendor
