As CTO, you’ll lead Souktel’s fast-growing software development team, drive new corporate IT strategy, and be directly responsible for launching new products in 20+ markets. Reporting to the CEO, you’ll work closely with Souktel’s senior management team. This position is based in Ramallah, Palestine; salary package is highly competitive and includes stock options.

Your Responsibilities:

• Manage the weekly workflow planning for Souktel’s distributed team of developers—leading project scheduling, follow-up, and progress monitoring.

• Lead software project life cycle, from storyboarding to release notes.

• Lead and enhance processes for performance monitoring, code review, and quality assurance, in staging and production environments.

• Lead ongoing implementation of company-wide disaster recovery and business continuity plans.

• Evaluate and identify appropriate tech platforms (mobile and web application frameworks and deployment stacks) for delivering the company’s services.

• Maintain market-leading knowledge of software standards, industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices.

• Recruit and hire new software development staff to drive corporate growth plans.

• Communicate the company’s software strategy to investors, management, staff, and clients.

• Pitch and present new products and/or project proposals to current and prospective clients; represent the company at key tech-sector events.
