Project Manager - Infrastructure - Aldar Properties


JOB SUMMARY







- Managedelivery of a specific project stream, while ensuring adherence to schedule, budget, quality, health, safety and sustainability standards







ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES







- Manage project team and ensureproject is completed as per the budget, schedule and quality standards and allcontractual requirements are met



- Coordinate activities ofcontractors/consultants, monitor performance, hold periodic meetingsand schedule periodic on-site visits to verify status



- Review, expand and refine initialhigh level plan and budget developed by Project - Control during feasibilityphase and review against PMC project schedule and budget



- Ensure project is progressingaccording to plan and generate progress reports with the support of ProjectControl andsubmit for Project Director’s review



- Liaise with Procurement to ensurethat all contracts required to complete the project are in place and provideinput on project scoping effort



- Provide input into project designphase if and when required



- Identify budget and scheduledeviations, issues and risks, assess impact and define action plans inaccordance with Planning & Control and seek Project Director approval



- Liaise with Design andInfrastructure to assess and address design issues (i.e. change orders)



- Follow-up with GovernmentRelations/PMC to obtain required permits and licenses



- Proactively discourage variationsand mitigate cost and schedule impact and review



- Manage all constructability issuesand liaise with relevant parties to address them



- Ensure onsite filing, control andmaintenance of project design and execution documents



- Manage project contracts and ensureproject compliance with terms and conditions



- Perform final handover to assetoperator



- Ensureproject abides by HSE policies and guidelines

CAPABILITIES / SKILLS











Business Capabilities



- 10+ years of experience in projectmanagement, with at least 5 years in senior project oversight position



- Proven experience of managingconstruction for developments with CAPEX 2-3 billion AED



- Strong knowledge and exposure tothe GCC real estate market



- Proven expertise in contractormanagement



- HSE champion with a proven trackrecord < 2% safety incidents



- Excellent project management skills



- Full understanding of constructionindustry and all related technical components



Interpersonal Skills



- Ability to manage contractors



- Ability to plan and execute tasks as per project schedule, budget andquality



- Strong conflict resolution andmanagement skills for resolving conflicts on the field
