Marc Ellis Consulting are currently exclusively hiring for a Senior Network Administrator, on behalf of a multinational company based in Qatar

CCIE Routing and Switching (Passed Lab exam) along with 1 more CCIE certificate (Any)

Any additional CCIE is a plus (Security, Data Center, Service Provider, ...etc)

20 years of experience

Bachelor degree in Computer Science or related

Consultancy experience is a plus

20 years’ experience in networking field.

7-8 years’ experience in leading and planning enterprise level network infrastructure

Role

· Design scalable and secure data network with highest level of availability and performance in a cost-effective way that suits the business.

· Plan, configure and oversee the implementation of the network infrastructure in co-ordination with network engineers, customers, principals, service providers, business partners and hardware / software vendors to ensure implementation meets design parameters with minimal disruption to the business.

· Provide speedy resolution for complex problems escalated by support engineers & system administrators.

· Identify network bottlenecks and perform fine tuning of network components.

· Identify business requirements and provide technical solution to establish network infrastructure.

· Keep abreast of networking technologies and tools, evaluate and recommend for incorporating into Network so as to improve scalability, reliability, security, performance, availability and

cost-effectiveness

· Overall responsible for the planning, design and implementation of network infrastructure operation strategy

· To make proposals and lead various network projects

· Work closely with various teams( like security and systems )to manage changes to the network

· Provide technical leadership for problem resolution and escalation

· Evaluate, source and deploy new technologies and services that provide added value to the organization
