Purpose :

Liferay Developer will be part of a large team who will be developing an enterprise solution in public sector organization; he or she will work with experienced team of Liferay Developers, Database Team, Java Service Team. Design and implement Liferay-based portlets/portals, Liferay Themes, Hooks,plugins, libraries.

Responsibilities :

 Translate application storyboards, use cases, and Web-page concept designs into functional and dynamic Web pages containing portlets

 Develop and unit test complex application Web modules

 Architect complex application business logic using Java

 Design and code the integration of the application business layer with the external application components

 Develop framework components, and expose back-end web-services via portlet API

 Customize Liferay to meet business requirements
