The Social Media Specialist is responsible for the growth of the social media presence of a group of companies, in alignment with business strategies and direction.

Responsibilities :

1. Establish brand awareness across paid, owned, and earned social media

2. Define social media guidelines such as language, tone, and third party filters and ensure that they remain consistent with core messaging objectives

3. Compile digital databank (photos and videos) to be released periodically on digitally driven channels (such as YouTube, Instagram, Flickr)

4. Set up and optimize company pages within each platform to increase the visibility of company’s brand

5. Produce social media content (text, images, and video), posting in Arabic and English

6. Ensure that all information broadcasted on social media channels complies with the brand image requirements and local culture

7. Experiment with new ways/strategies to leverage social media activities

8. Identify effective benchmarks for measuring the impact of social media programs

9. Analyze, review, and report on the effectiveness of campaigns based on backend measurement tools and analytics

10. Moderate comments and feedback posted and engage in conversation with customers

11. Flag negative, aggressive or sensitive topics and address them in a timely manner

12. Share feedback and insights gained from social media monitoring with management

other responsibilities may include:

 Providing content updates to company websites

 Recommending and implementing effective print media advertising

 Employing SEO techniques to push awareness of the company's brand
