Brief description

The position of sales manager consists of directing the actual distribution or movement of a product or service to the customer, coordinating sales distribution by establishing sales territories, quotas, and goals. It also consists of establishing training programs for sales representatives, and analyzing sales statistics gathered by staff to determine sales potential and training requirements and monitor the preferences of customers.

Tasks

• Confer or consult with department heads to plan training services and to secure information on needs and customer requirements and objectives;

• Confer with potential customers regarding Training needs and advise customers on types of training to they need and on the services we provide;

• Determine price schedules and discount rates;

• Direct and coordinate activities involving sales of the company’s training and consultancy products, services, and other subjects of sale and services.

• Monitor customer preferences to determine focus of sales efforts;

• Plan and direct staffing, training, and performance evaluations to develop and control sales and service programs;

• Prepare budgets and approve budget expenditures;

• Resolve customer complaints regarding training programs and other services;

• Review operational records and reports to project sales and determine profitability.

• Responsible for generating monthly sales targets for the company

• Responsible for generating new sales via new channels
