The person we are looking for should have shop floor experience in manufacturing of dump trucks, water / fuel tanks, garbage compactors, trailers, vacuum tanks etc.

The candidate should be good in applying mechanical, thermodynamic, pneumatic, hydraulic and electrical principles to resolve engineering problems and find appropriate solutions.

Production planning, forecasting & target setting.

Read the drawings & execute fabrication accordingly.

Preparing material, cost and timing estimates, reports and design specifications.

Supervising and inspecting the installation, modification and commissioning of system.

Investigating mechanical failures or unexpected maintenance problems.

Supervising technicians, technologists and other engineers, and reviewing and approving designs, calculations and cost estimates.

Carrying out quality inspections on jobs.

Ensuring health & safety guidelines are followed on shop floor.

Inspecting and test driving vehicles and checking for fault.
