The Role:

Alshaya operate over 2,500 stores across the Middle East. As a Technical Support Engineer you will work a shift team to provide first line support to a portfolio of our retail stores in Kuwait by configuring and installing Windows servers, upgrading and migrating operating systems and software applications. You will be handling user complaints and problems by providing ultimate solutions to meet their needs and requirements. You will also manage backups, troubleshooting and maintain secure data communication.

Skills & Qualifications Required

- 2 - 4 years' experience in a similar role- Degree in electronics / computer engineering- Excellent working knowledge of Windows Desktop and Server OS- Basic networking skills- IT Hardware troubleshooting skills- Secure data communication skills- Knowledge of Windows administration- Flexibility to work various shifts- A Windows or Networking certification is an added advantage- Basic working knowledge in SQL/Sybase is an advantage- Experience on Micros RES 3700 is an added advantage.
