Regional Service Controller - Starbucks - UAE - M.H. Alshaya Co.

The Role:
You will be responsible for ensuring service support is provided to a portfolio of internal and external clients, this will be done by ensuring preventative maintenance and reactive repairs of all supplied coffee equipment is undertaken in a timely manner as per the clients requirements and the contractual agreements across the MENA region.
You will also:
- Build relationships with key clients and suppliers to ensure seamless service delivery at all times, becoming a one stop shop for all coffee equipment related issues- Interact with local authorities as required ensuring all local legislation is adhered to within business premises- Manage the day-to-day actions of Alshaya employed coffee technicians and third party contractors across the MENA region- Coordinate with third parties in relation to all maintenance works- Establish and manage regional workshops ensuring that a sufficient spare part inventory if available in market- Manage spare part inventory, procurement, consumption and budgetary requirements for the MENA region- Through country supervisors, ensure that the quality of work is inspected on a day to day basis and ensure remedial where required.
Requirements:
- 10 years' experience in a `hands on` role as a multi-skilled management role- 10 years' experience in coffee machine maintenance management role- 5 years' experience in a food retail environment- Electrical/mechanical engineering degree (health & safety qualification would be advantageous)- Coffee equipment installation accreditation- Strong technical awareness and a good overview of building services- Excellent communication skills both written and oral English.
