IT Applications Engineer - Presidential Flight
•The IT Applications Engineer is responsible for providing support to the IT Applications Manager and the IT Applications section to ensure continual full performance of adopted PF applications as per PF’s regulations.
•Responsible for conducting regular maintenance of existing PF applications; updating the IT library and system documentations as per adopted IT policy and procedures.
•Performs quality control on development work to ensure applications are properly tested; updates documentation as required.
•Receives and manages applications related complaints; records, prioritizes, follows up, reports, resolves or assigns to ensure timely and adequate closures.
•Responsible for the installation, monitoring, on-going maintenance and securing PF’s databases and database servers as per PF policies and procedures.
•Responsible for initial user requirement analysis, application selection or development and deployment.
•Assists in defining technical strategy and direction.
•Assists in the development of technical skills within the team.
•Coordinates and stays abreast of client and PF’s requirements.
•Communicates any related application matters to all stakeholders as required and on timely basis.
